1st South Lefkada Union of Villages Historic Race

On 25. September 2022, the Association of Tourism Professionals of Vasiliki Lefkada and the wider area will hold the 1st Historical Game of the Villages of South Lefkada.
There will be 3 races:
- 6,200 metres mountain running race (Start 9:00h)
- 23,000 metres mountain running (Start 9:00h)
- 1,000 metres road race for children (Start 12:30h)
All races have the same starting and finishing point, the picturesque harbour of Vasiliki.
The mountain race over 23,000 metres (start time 09:00) is a race of amazing beauty, linking Vasiliki with Kontaraina, Marantochori, Vournika and Syvros along historic paths and routes in the mountains.
The race over 6,200 metres (start time 09:00) goes past the church of Agios Nikolaos to Kontarena. There, past the village church, back to Vasiliki via unpaved roads.
The 1,000-metre road race for children up to 15 years (start time 12:30): You can participate as parents / accompanying persons and run with your children. Parents with very young children with their pushchair are also very welcome to attend.
