The country is ready to receive visitors from international destinations from July 1. All travellers, arriving by air, sea or road, are obliged to complete their Passenger Locator Form (PLF) between 72h and at least 24 hours before entering the country, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of their stay while in Greece. After submitting their PFL form, each traveller will receive a personal QR code on the day of their scheduled arrival in Greece (at midnight), which must be presented, either via mobile phone or on hard copy, upon their arrival in Greece. Travelers boarding or embarking on the previous day of the arrival will be allowed to do so upon showing the confirmation email. An algorithm will calculate whether and which travellers will have to take a corona test after their arrival. Only after arrival do holidaymakers find out whether they are being tested and then have to isolate themselves at their holiday address until the result is known.

Disadvantage:Anyone who is cited for the Corona test must remain in quarantine until the evaluation in the hotel room.

Ferrys: all passengers travelling to and from Greece must fill in the “Pre-boarding health declaration questionnaire” and hand it over upon embarkation to the vessel's Chief Purser along with their ticket.
