The big cleaning up after the flood

After the floods receded last night, the extent of the flooding is now visible in daylight. Just yesterday evening, the affected shops, hotels, restaurants and bars were cleaned again with high pressure to save at least part of the daily business. Streets, parking lots and the promenade path were cleaned up and made safe for the public. Even today the traces of the flood are being removed since the early morning hours. The beaches are cleaned in the surfing establishments. The fire brigade is still pumping water from the underground garage in the city hall, while the municipal crews are removing branches and trees from the school building area.
